Pretoria also called as Tshwane the administrative capital of South Africa is situated to the north of Johannesburg in Gauteng Province. The foreign embassy of South Africa is located in this city. About 2 million people live in this city.

PIn 1964 Rivonia Treason Trial took place and it is the prison in this city where Nelson Mandela and his colleagues were imprisoned for life long. The Pretoria still preserve this prison as a monument. Sculptures and Monuments preserved in the city add fame to its name.

Loftus Versfeld stadium is chosen to host the FIFA world cup in Pretoria city. It has a capacity of 50,000. The stadium was named after Owen Loftus Versfeld and was built in 1906. The stadium will host 6 matches of the FIFA world cup 2010.
