FIFA final draw on December 4 2009 final procedures approved
Final draw for the FIFA world cup 2010 has been scheduled on December 4 2009 at 19:00 hrs (local time). The final draw has been planned to be held on Cape Town.
The 32 nations will be pinched into eight groups. Each groups will have four nations with the top two in each group.
The procedures for the final draw are approved by the FIFA local organizing committee today. The seeding is based on the ranking of FIFA October 2009 and cola cola world. Therefore the seven squads that will join along with South Africa as seeded teams are Brazil, Spain, Germany, Argentina, England, Netherlands, and Italy.
The committee has also approved the masterpiece of other pots for world cup along with the procedure for the final draw.
Pot 2 will encompass the teams of Asia and Oceania.
Pot 3 will encompass the teams of Africa and South America.
Pot 4 will encompass the remaining European teams.
Since South Africa is the host city it is automatically positioned to A1 and the other seed teams are positioned into B through H and they will be in the position 1 of their group.
The geographical criteria have also been very well valued. That means no two teams that belong to the same union will not be drawn into the same group.
