About South Africa
Republic South Africa is located at the southern tip of Africa and is also called as " World in one country " and "Cradle of Humankind"
South Africa has huge land mass with 44 million people. It is Africa´s regional as well as international tourist centre. The scenic beauty, sunny weather and the flora and fauna makes it a beautiful country.
South Africa is bordered with Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.
It has a good mineral wealth. It is rich in gold, chromium, coal, copper, platinum etc.
South Africa is divided into 9 provinces. They are:
- Eastern cape
- Free state
- Gauteng
- Kwazulu natal
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Northern cape
- Western cape
About one third of South Africa population lives in Gauteng, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
